Hungarian Pumi

The Hungarian Pumi was bred for herding sheep in Hungary. Did you know that the plural of Pumi is Pumik? They are often confused with Pulik, which is the plural of Puli. Pumik are sometimes called “Hungarian Herding Terriers”, because they have some terrier traits. The most common Pumi coat color is grey, though they can also be white or “fako”(Fawn in Hungarian). Grey Pumis are usually born black, and then their color changes to grey very early on.
